What does a typical day look like for you?
Wake up, 8 hours of cursing under my breath, take the kids to activities, lay in bed thinking about all the things I still have to get done.
What is your favorite part of your job?
The flexibility, and not having a boss to micromanage me.
How do you spend your free time?
Reading in the bathtub, gardening, watching plant care videos on TikTok.
What’s on your summer reading list?
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sara J Maas.
How has Next Monday been of value to you and/or your career?
Accountability and confidence. Thanks to Michelle and EPG, I have created a space for incredible growth in my life.
What are you looking forward to at the Women of Influence Summit in September?
Experiencing the event with my sister.
What are you hoping to share with fellow attendees at the Women of Influence Summit?
Laughter and memories.
What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I hate wearing pants.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Vacationing every summer at Grand View Lodge.
What would you name the autobiography of your life?
Cuss Words and Cat Herds
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
Own a garden center or greenhouse.
What would you most like to tell yourself at age 18?
IT GETS BETTER. Turning 40 will be the best thing that’s ever happened to you.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
St Thomas was gorgeous. Key West was laid back and friendly. Paris was historically beautiful.
What is your favorite meal?
Mexican food. Tacos and rice bowls.
How do you keep a healthy work-life balance?
HAHAHA. Find me a business owner who has mastered this and I’ll let you ride my pet unicorn.
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
My four kids.
